The Paragon Carousel invited me for a magnificent state wide fair called “The Magic Continues!” The President, Marie Schleiff, of the Friends of the Paragon Carousel in Hull, Ma. read about my book in the recent Merry-Go-RoundUp NCA magazine. Her mission is to preserve and restore the vintage Philadelphia Toboggan Company Carousel built in 1928. The Merry-Go-Round welcomed me to a world removed from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. A place where incredible artistry and glorious music combine with wholesome family fun. The carousel has been operating at beautiful Nantasket Beach for more than 80 years.
Patti Abbot, the manager, James Pearse, the artist extraordinaire who restores the carousel friends, and even the Frozen Ice Princess made the day wonderfully enjoyable. 7,000 people participated to enjoy the day. They sell both my t shirts and story books. I look forward to returning in the Spring for a two day event.
